Arkady - drums

Definitely the most musically educated member of the band, Arkady began his musical career (and we can surely call it a "career") in 1980, when all other current band members were busy with things far from music in general and rock in particular, and some of them didn't even exist on Earth. Drums and percussion instruments entered his life at the age of 13 and became his love, his obsession and, finally, his profession. Arkady has a decent theoretical background behind his back - a musical college, the Tajik Institute of Arts, department of drums and percussion. He graduates as a professional musician and sharpens his skills in a chamber orchestra, a circus orchestra, a chamber string ensemble, a jazz band... Finally, after having had many years of experience and trying himself in various streams of music, Arkady joins After G.R.E.V. in 2003 to become a rock drummer. His classical and jazz background contributed very much to the style of the band, added a unique coloring to their music. His drums' close interaction with Gregory's bass made up a perfect example of a rhythm section - the solid basis for a full throttle rock composition.
